CURRENT STATUS: Suspension of Community Badminton Activity
As this is a rapidly evolving issue, please refer to this page regularly for the latest advice and guidance on dealing with Coronavirus (Covid-19).
In light of recent Government guidelines on Friday (20 March) in relation to Coronavirus, Community Bamdinton has implemented an immediate suspension of activity it delivers, with this suspension now in place for the foreseeable future.
This includes all Community Badminton organised group coaching sessions, individual coaching sessions, holiday camps and competitions.
Given the nature of activities Community Badminton delivers, including the requirement for significant travel and close contact, we feel this is the most socially responsible and appropriate action for us to take at this stage, and ask for the understanding and support of all those impacted by this decision.
For all our players we have placed an immediate freeze on your Coaching Plan subscription and we will not be collecting any monthly recurring fees whilst coaching sessions remain suspended. We are working on laying on extra badminton when we are back to compensate the loss of the last week of coaching in March.
We are monitoring the situation closely and we have an experienced team drawn from across all areas of the business who are speaking regularly to monitor developments and react accordingly. As is normal business practice, we are following the UK government guidelines and will adjust our response accordingly, and we will let you know if we make changes.
Please make sure you continue to follow us on our social media and website as we will be posting regular updates along with advice, tips, and badminton activities you can do at home.
With your support we've worked hard to build Community Badminton into a community we all know and love and would ask that you continue to support us moving forward.
Stay safe, look after yourselves and your loved ones.
